Qualified Staff

Tim Ferrell, P.E.

Tim Ferrell is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in both California and Nevada. Mr. Ferrell received a B.S. in Civil Engineering at the University of Idaho and has over seventeen years of engineering experience within the Tahoe Basin and nineteen years of experience working within the civil engineering field. His experience includes storm water system design, subdivision design, surveying, drainage design, construction staking and topographies, utility design including relocation for erosion control projects, encroachment permits and inspection, plan checking, commercial site development, hydrology reports, erosion control plans and construction management.

Bobby Groza, Engineer

Bobby Groza has been working as a civil engineer for F.C.E. for five years and has a total of seven years experience in engineering. He is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from Vitus Bering University, Denmark. He is also an Industrial Designer graduate from Transilvania University, Romania. Mr. Groza has designed and managed numerous engineering projects including sports facility design, residential and commercial design, public utilities, subdivision design, and has worked on every type of project in the scope of the company experience.

Joe Parme, Project Manager

Joe Parme has been with F.C.E. for two years. He has thirteen years of experience in project management prior to working at F.C.E. and currently handles management and permitting of a variety of projects for our firm. Mr. Parme has excellent communication skills, is proficient in drafting and is certified in AutoCAD through CAD Masters training. Along with management, he also functions as an engineering technician for a wide range of projects including cable and utility installation design, erosion control and site infiltration design, and residential and commercial site development.

Jason Webb, Engineering Technician

Jason Webb has been with F.C.E. for three years and is highly skilled in drafting and design. He is certified in AutoCAD through CAD Masters training and is a competent and motivated individual. Mr. Webb is skilled in site inspection and has overseen the construction of several major subdivision developments for our firm. He excels in pier design and also has experience with small to large scale retrofit grading, drainage and erosion control projects, site surveying, storm water management, and commercial and residential site development.

Alex Vanderhoff, E.I.T.

Alex Vanderhoff is the newest member of F.C.E. She recently graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on aerospace science. Ms. Vanderhoff has one year of engineering experience and previously worked for F.C.E. as an undergraduate summer intern. She functions as an engineering technician with experience in residential design, drainage and erosion control projects and communications.
